Ġnien Carmelo Dimech in Mosta, spanning over 1,600 square meters, has been revitalized with a focus on sustainability and community engagement. The project, led by Ambjent Malta and Public Works, introduced drought-tolerant plants, drip irrigation, and mulching to conserve water. Over 3,000 plants, trees, and shrubs were added to enhance the space. Key features include a 100-cubic-meter water reservoir for stormwater collection, solar-powered paving for water pumps and lighting, and a playground that generates renewable energy from children’s movement.
