Misraħ is-Sebgħa ta’ Ġunju 1919 in Ħamrun, has revitalized the community with a green space in a busy urban area. The €1.5 million project, funded by the National Development and Social Fund (NDSF) and led by GreenServ, transformed the space while maintaining parking. Sustainable materials, such as recycled aluminum and sustainably sourced wood, were used for benches, and solar panels were installed to power lighting and USB charging points. A water reservoir was also refurbished for garden use.
