At the corner of Anġlu Gatt Street and Gilormu Cassar Street, you’ll find a quiet space with benches shaded by trees. It’s a simple, peaceful spot where you can sit and relax for a while, away from the busier parts of town. Perfect for a short break or a moment of calm. Ġlormu Cassar was a renowned Maltese military architect known for his role in the construction of Valletta. He worked as an assistant to Francesco Laparelli before taking over the project and designing many of the city’s key buildings, including what we now know as St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the Grand Master’s Palace, and the city gates.
