Ta’ Qali Picnic Area

The Ta’ Qali recreation area which features a family-friendly spot known as the Picnic Area, conveniently located between the BOV Adventure Park and the Formal Garden within the Ta’ Qali National Park. Spanning approximately 6 hectares (58,459.10 m²), this expansive open space invites families to enjoy picnics together. The picnic area also includes a dog park where pets can socialize and play with one another. Ambjent Malta is continually enhancing this area. New picnic tables have been installed under the trees for visitors’ convenience. Additional outdoor furniture, including wooden benches and sunshade structures (each covering 72 m²), is being added to create more shaded relaxation spots for both children and adults. The landscaping has also been improved with the planting of Holm Oak and Aleppo Pine trees, providing further enclosure and shade for those visiting the Ta’ Qali Picnic Area.
